100 Day Writing Challenge
This year started off with a bang, and I got a lot of things accomplished. But life doesn’t always go along according to whatever plan you have concocted. So, now I’m picking up the pieces and am determined to end the year with a bang.
I’m not going to lie; it’s not going to be easy. We are in the process of renovating an old house and will be moving in the next month. We will have one of our children moving back home. The house we’ve bought is half the size of what we are currently living in so there will be a lot of downsizing and organizing. On top of that, I still have my full time job and my commute will be long after moving.
Why am I doing this?
Writing is my passion. I’ve gotten out of the habit, but it’s in my heart and I can’t stop thinking about it. Also, I’m imagining big things coming up in the next few years, and writing is a part of that. Every month, the money I earn here will be added on to my car payment to get it paid off quicker.
The plan: Treat writing like a part-time job. The first step of that was to come up with a goal, and the goal I have is to have one less car payment by the end of the 100 day writing challenge.
Now that the goal is set, it’s time to get started.
Who is with me? Anyone up to taking this on alongside me? 100 days, 100 articles, 100 chances of picking up more readers. By the end, who knows what we can accomplish. I’d love to have some company along the way to help encourage me and keep me accountable.
Let me know! Also, if you have any advice, I’m open to it. I’m going to need all the help I can get!
