2 Months in Kindle Vella

Is it worth it?
For me, absolutely.
This is a story that I wrote two-thirds of years ago and set to the side when life got busy. I loved this story and how it was shaping up, but for some reason couldn’t find the motivation to dig back in.
Kindle Vella gave me that motivation.
The first month was full of ups and downs. The excitement was there to dig back into the story line and get the edits that were needed done. It was exciting but discouraging to check on how many reads I was getting, thumbs up etc.
It’s hard to promote your Vella stories!
I’ve tried Facebook and Twitter. I’ve tried reading groups and author groups. Not many people even know about Vella, and it’s hard to entice people to get there. On top of that, once they do go, it’s hard for them to return and find your story again.
