Bringing Back The To-Do List

During the first two weeks of my quarantine, I managed to get a lot of projects done.

At the time, I was unsure as to how long I would be out of work, and wanted to take advantage of every day I had at home. I filled my days staying as busy as I could. At the end of each day, I stood back and would look proudly over my work.

And then week 3 hit.

By this point, all the big projects I wanted to do were done, and I slacked off. Each day I started doing less and less. By the afternoon, I would kick myself for not getting something done, and force myself to do something small.

I’ve lost track of how many weeks I’ve been at home. I think it’s been about a month. The days tick by with not a whole lot to show for them. It really got me thinking.

My dream is to be able to stay home and earn money. In four years, I’m hoping to hit that goal, but if I can’t even manage to stay productive for a month, how exactly is that going to work?

It’s time to bring back my to-do list.

I am a creature of habit, and if I don’t stay on some type of routine, I tend to flounder about. Now that the country is starting to open back up, I’m feeling the pressure to get as much done as I can, while I can. But, how do I get back on track?
