It’s now August, and how the year is flying by.

I’ve got a ton of plans that have to be put into motion this month. It seems a little overwhelming when I look at the big picture so I’m taking it a day at a time.

First order of business: Burying any and all excuses I’ve had or can come up with.

Life has been crazy. I’ve hardly had any free time. Yup, that excuse is gone. I’ve had free time. Enough free time to watch an entire season of a television show.

I’m exhausted after working and commuting for 13 hours a day. Let me throw some dirt on you. I still manage to read on my lunch. Couldn’t I have used that time to work on a project? Yup. Here’s a rose for your afterlife.

My days off are not my days off. It seems as though every one of them ends up being hijacked by family and neighbors. Pass me a bigger shovel please. I need more dirt for this one. My loved ones are a priority, and they don’t take up my entire day. After all, what is a few hours of conversation? Couldn’t I use that as inspiration?

There are chores to be done, and things around me are chaotic. I can’t work in chaos. Come gather around me at the casket please. Everyone pick up a shovel and help fill the hole. I’m not the only one who lives here and it’s not all my chaos that surrounds me. All I need to do is open my…
