Dear America,

I have struggled trying to come up with the words that I want to say to you, and they just won’t come so instead I’m going to tell you how I feel.

I love you. I grew up loving you and everything you stood for. Right now though, I do not like you.

I am so hurt and so angry that you are ripping yourself apart. I am devastated at the destruction that is going on from shoreline to shoreline.
