Have you ever listened to a song and have it hit home a point that left you shocked? Lately, there’s one song that does that to me.

This song by Luke Combs has a line in it that really got me thinking about my entire life.

What’s the point of this ol’ guitar if it ain’t got no strings?
Or pourin’ your heart into a song that you ain’t gonna sing?

I have had so many dreams in my heart that I haven’t followed through with because of fear. Fear of failure has frozen me time and time again. So, what’s the point of me pouring my heart into my writing if I’m not going to do anything with it? What’s the point of me continuing on if I’m too scared to even tell my family about it?

I love writing, I really do. I can’t imagine my life with no writing in it. I think about it daily, almost hourly.
