The Day Has Finally Arrived

This year’s election has been like no other that I can recall in my lifetime. I don’t know whose side you are on and frankly it doesn’t even matter.

The last couple of years have been filled with nothing but hatred, turmoil, riots and protests. There have been allegations, investigations, and name calling.

Two years ago, I started saving money. I’m not normally one to give in to fear, but knowing how bad this election and the results could be, I wanted to do whatever I could to buy a place out of the city.

When it comes to unrest, with this election it doesn’t even matter who wins. When the results come in, I fear there are going to be riots and protests throughout the nation.

The anger and hatred spewed by my fellow Americans has shocked me. It’s caused me anxiety to the point of having to completely step away from social media and the news.

I remember when the news merely stated what was going on in our nation. It stated facts with no opinions added on to it. It didn’t twist things to fit their narrative. That is no longer the case. Now the media is clearly showing what side they support and bash the other side.

Well, the day has come that it is finally going to come to a head.
