Frustrated? Use That To Change Direction
I’ve had this five year plan that I’ve followed now for two years. I’ve got three years left, and there are periods of time that I forget what I’m striving for.
Then I’ll have one of those days.
Working retail sucks. I think everyone should have to work in retail for one year so that they understand how to act when they go shopping. This year, after the pandemic started, has been the roughest.
Lately, I’ve had a few days where I’m ready to walk away. I’ve recently received a promotion, and with that comes a lot more responsibility. I’m up to the challenge, but dealing with the B.S. that comes along with it makes me want to rip my hair out.
I’ve had days where I get home and want to log on and find another job.
That’s when I remind myself.
Why Am I Doing This?
I only have three years left in order to get to a point financially where I can quit.
When I’m frustrated, I tend to work harder towards achieving my dreams than I do when things are going fine. I use that frustration as motivation to change what I can. And what I can change is what I do when I’m not at work.
