Goals For November
October flew by in a blink of an eye. I didn’t get half as much done as I’d hoped, but November is here. In fact, the first week of November is almost over. Where the heck is time going?
Time for my monthly goals.
You might be asking why post on here what my monthly goals are. I’ve found that if I put them in writing, and share it here, it helps me stay accountable. Not only that, but because this writing community is so great, we can help hold each other accountable.
So here I go.
This month I need to edit and post at least four chapters of my Vella story. I’ve posted one, and need to get another one up there.
I’ve got a short story I want to get published this month. That means going through and doing the edits, typing them up, writing the blurb, creating a cover, and figuring out the formatting for it. As much work as it seems it’s going to be, this is something that excites me to no end so it’s high on the priority list.
Of course we can’t forget it’s NaNoWriMo. I’m bound and determined to hit that 50,000 word count by the end of the month. I’m struggling with this because life does not cooperate with my goals, but I’m not going to let that stop me.
I’ve also created a list of thirty writing exercises that I’m working my way through. I got the first one…
