I Bought a Rosemary Plant Today

You might be thinking, who cares? Right?

Well, it is significant to me for one main reason.

I have never been successful at growing rosemary in a container. Every time I plant it, by the time it starts actually growing, we move and I have to leave it behind. I swore that I would never do it again.

Well, it looks like my big dream is finally coming true and we will be buying a piece of property large enough for everything I want. What does that mean? For the first time in ten years, I can plant rosemary and know that we are not going to have to leave it behind.

We probably won’t be moving for another at least month, but I will have my little rosemary plant to look at. It’s exciting because it is the first purchase made for our forever home. It is something that will hopefully grow with us and last for years and years to come.

We went out to the property today and had to dig to find the caved-in septic tank. We spent over an hour just staring out over the yard, talking about all the possibilities and plans we had.

Life will so much simpler once we are there. There is no cell service which means that when we are at home, the phones will be useless. There’s internet service, but not the great high-speed that we are used to so whether we will all be able to be on at…
