I Should Have Taken Medium More Seriously

At the beginning of the year, I made my yearly goals.

2020 has kicked my ass so far. It started with bronchitis then in February was an upper respiratory infection that I am STILL trying to get over.

Then March happened.

We all know how March is going.

One of my goals was to get more serious about Medium and my writing. I had planned on writing 20 posts a month. I’ve miserably failed at that.

My stats have plummeted, although I am still making what my goal was.

But, looking back?

Damn.

I should have taken Medium more seriously.

Now that the nation around me is closing down, I am out of work. I still have bills to pay, and thanks to Medium, my car payment next month is about half of what it normally is.

We have enough food, water and essentials to get through the next month or two. If need be, my husband can cover May’s car payment. Sure, money will be tight, but we will be okay.

But, with that being said, my son may not be.

We just bought him a car that he is responsible for covering the payment for. We got it for him to get him out of a horrendous living situation. He just signed a lease for an…
