A Letter To One Of My Best Friends
I want to take you with me, on this wonderful journey I’m on. I want you by my side so that you can share the joy I feel, because I know this is your dream as well.
They say misery loves company, but I think joy does as well. I know I can call you and share with you everything I see and everything I’m doing, but if I could have my way, you’d be right by my side, participating as well.
I want to see the excitement on your face as we discover new things. I want to laugh together as we experiment and fail miserably. I want to drop in exhaustion at the end of the day and come up with a plan for tomorrow with you.
It kills me that you can’t be here every step of the way, but I wish you could be. My hopes and dreams are so similar to yours that I wish I could share the pure contentment I feel and rapture this journey brings.
I hope that one day I can; that one day your dream will come true. But that doesn’t change the fact that I want to take you with me.
I wish that you were here every step of the way. We could drive our husbands crazy with our antics. Their eyeballs would grow tired from rolling so much. Our children could chat back and forth about how crazy their mothers are.
