If Quarantined, How Would You Fare?
An Honest Look At How Prepared You Are
Before I begin, I don’t want you to think I’m some crazy prepper or anything; I definitely am not. So, let me give you a quick peek into my history.
When my oldest son was born, we were broke. Dead broke. Every single penny we made went to pay bills, buy diapers and formula. My husband and I survived off Top Ramen and tap water.
Every two weeks at payday, I would hoard the extra $1.95 we had left, and once a month I would splurge and buy either a package of frozen burritos or corn dogs.
Because of this, I grew a mindset of never wanting to be in that position again. My friends make fun of me because I always keep my pantry stocked full.
When the threat of the Corona Virus came to be, I wasn’t too worried. It was in China at the time… didn’t affect me.
Then it spread.
Was I worried? Yes, but because of my health.
I didn’t go into panic mode but the people who have died from it tend to have compromised immune systems because of one thing or another.
I have asthma and on top of that, I am still trying to get better from a bout of bronchitis I got a month ago. That is why it worried me.
