It has been six months since I made my goals for the year.

I do not make resolutions, I make goals. They weren’t all year-long goals. I broke those long goals into months, days, and weeks. Now that the year is half way over, it is time to look back and evaluate how far I got, where I struggled, and what I did right.

Once that is done, I will readjust accordingly.

A lot of major life changes have happened since I made those goals, and all of it were things that were unexpected. If you’re interested in how I came up with these goals and broke them down, here is my original post:

So, if I look at my three main long-term goals, I’m doing so bad. I’ve got a savings account and started saving money to buy some land and a house. What I did not realize at the time was how long it would take me to find a full-time job. So, no, I haven’t saved nearly as much as I’d hoped, but twice a month more money is added, so that goal so far is successful.

Raising my Medium following to 1,200 by the end of the year… yup. Right on track for that…
