Marketing For A Small Business

Starting up a new business is a scary thing. There’s always a risk that it is going to fail and that whatever finances you put into it to get things going will be a complete loss.

There are many aspects that can lead to success for a small business, but today I’m only going to talk about the one that I fear the most.

Marketing.

I am a complete introvert. I don’t like necessarily talking to strangers, and I do not like putting myself out there. For example, when it comes to my writing, nobody I know in real life even knows I write.

I have my online friends who I consider as my writing community, but as far as telling people what I do? It makes my stomach cramp just thinking about it.

Now, I’m getting ready to start up a small, home-based business. I’m in the very beginning phase with research and prep. In fact, I haven’t even come up with a name for my business yet. But, the part I fear the most is figuring out how I am going to market my business once I get it up and running. If I can tackle that, I think the rest will go much more smooth.
