For two years now, I’ve made it a goal to try some new project every single month. My first plan had been weekly, but that changed to monthly.

I don’t know why I haven’t actually started doing this. Perhaps I’m afraid that what I decide to try will be a major failure. I want whatever it is I attempt to do to be a success. I don’t want to get excited about something and then have it be a waste of time.

My reality is I’m already failing by not attempting. I need to get over my fear of failure and just jump in. I think for me it’s a complete mindset shift I need. So, I’m starting with changing what I call it.

Starting in July my monthly experiments will start. You never know what will happen with an experiment, right? You make a guess, try it out, and draw your conclusion. This way, no matter what happens, my experiments will not be failures.
