Looking back at my dismal stats, I know I need to make a change. In June, I only managed to write seven stories here on Medium. My goal had been to write at least twelve.

Like always, life got in the way and my goals went by the wayside.

I’m bound and determined to change that. This month, I’m pushing myself beyond what I normally do.

One post a day, no matter what.

I have missed writing, and often days go by where I think about it constantly, but make excuses and don’t get it done.

Perhaps they will be nonsense, only time will tell. What I do know is that I need to form better writing habits. I need the routine so I can get things accomplished.

Working retail means some days I work early mornings, other days I work late nights. It makes creating a daily schedule pretty tricky. What works some days, may not work other days.

I’ve got my writing space situated so that my laptop is ready and waiting for me when it is time. It is out in the open as a reminder that before I sit and relax at the end of the day, or first thing in the morning, there is something I need to do.

I’m not sure how this will go, but surely it can’t go any worse than last month, could it? Well, I guess I shouldn’t say that since so far this year has…
