They say a person’s true character can be seen during the hardest times.

I love my husband and always have. He is not perfect. He has flaws.

Together, we’ve traveled through some of the darkest times, but have grown stronger as a unit and made it through.

When you find a man you wish to marry, Tessa, remember this: You will know what kind of man he is not by the things he says, but by the things he does.

Cassandra Clare

Nine months ago, he made my big dream come true. Since then, he has worked his tail off renovating the old dilapidated house we bought and clearing the five acres of property.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always appreciated him and everything he does for our family, but when the pandemic hit, he went into Superman mode.

You see, I have severe asthma which puts me in the high-risk category. Not only that, but I’m still trying to recover from bronchitis that I got about two months ago which means my immune system is already shot to shit.

He spent a huge chunk of his paycheck to stock up on everything we would need for a month so that I wouldn’t have to go to the grocery store and be around people.
