Pick Your Partner Wisely
There are so many things to consider when you first jump into a relationship. Is there chemistry? Does he/she treat you with respect? Do you have common ground to build from? The list goes on and on.
I’ve talked about this a little before, but it is weighing heavily on my mind right now.
For years, roughly ten years ago, I had a dream to own a lot of land and spoke about all the possibilities it would bring. Over the years, even when it wasn’t a possibility, the dream did not fade.
Last June, when I showed my husband a piece of property I’d found online, he didn’t even hesitate. It was my dream but he took the first step in making it come true.
Over the past fifteen months, my sweet husband has bent over backwards making all my wants and desires to come true. Now, I’m no princess. I’m not a materialistic person who is selfish. I will always sacrifice what I want for what my family wants.
Now, my husband has put a stop to that. I swear when I’ve talked and I thought he was tuning me out, he was listening and paying attention. When we bought the house, it needed a lot of work. With that being said, the first thing he did was buy me a lemon tree.
