Starting A Geocaching Journey
Do you remember when you were young and watched movies or read stories about people going on treasure hunts? Maybe it was old tales about pirates burying their treasure, or shipwrecks that held valuables. All those stories kept your attention because of the excitement of the unknown.
Would the treasure be found? Was it even real? Would the hunters be able to follow the clues that were left behind? I remember reading stories, wishing I could read faster so that I could find out what happened.
I’ve been in a funk lately. I think about writing constantly yet I can’t force myself to sit down and write. On top of that, I don’t go anywhere. I want to but it’s easy on my days off to stay at home.
Geocaching is something we used to do with the kids when they were younger. It got us out of the house and doing something active together as a family. Although my kids are now grown, I’m hoping that it may help solve several issues for me. First, let me explain what geocaching is for those of you who don’t know.
