It’s that time of year again.

Everyone is tired dealing with the heat of the summer and begging for fall to arrive. They complain and talk about their silly pumpkin spice concoctions that they love so much.

Not me!

I know that once it cools down, winter is right around the corner. Year after year, I freeze as soon as summer dies away.

We went from lows in the seventies to lows in the high thirties. Not happy about that, but hey, you can’t do anything about it, right?

But what really bums me out is that with cold weather brings the end of the summer garden. We have just moved to a new property and I only have a few plants. Here is the story about them:

So, as the temps are dipping down close to freezing at night, it is time to go out and cut off the last two bell peppers.

They are ready and beautiful and my family loves bell peppers, but I know that once those last two are cut off, that’s it for the year. No more going out to check the plants, no more worrying about if they need to be…
