The Rain Pours Down

As hurricane Ida approached the Louisiana coastline, over here in Florida we did what we could to prepare.

All we would get was heavy rain and a little wind. But, heavy rain here means that our carport floods. All the water runs down our two driveways heading directly towards the carport.

During most rain storms, we end up outside at one point or another digging out a trench around the carport, hoping…
