The Third Step In Creating Goals

If you’ve finished steps 1 and 2, you are ready to move on to the third step. I talked about the first two steps here:

The third step in creating goals is multi-part in a way.

You know what your dream is, so now you need to break it down to a yearly goal. For some, this may be considered their long term goal while others view it as a mid-term goal.

Whatever the case may be, now break it down further. What are the main things you want to accomplish each month that will lead to your yearly success?

Here’s an example.

This year, my long term goals are to increase my December Medium income by five. That may sound impressive, but if you saw the piddly amount that I made, it’s really not a stretch. So for each month, I have a set increase that I will strive for.
